Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Gen 13, 2025)
The X1 Carbon Gen 13 is the business ultraportable for people who type all day and value a keyboard, ports, and serviceability over flash. It pairs an efficient Lunar Lake chip with a famously excellent keyboard, a matte 14-inch display that is easy on the eyes in office lighting, and the manageability and durability that IT departments trust. It is not the cheapest 14-incher and the design is deliberately conservative, but for road warriors and developers who want a reliable, repairable workhorse with great I/O, little else feels this purpose-built.
A good time to buy — it's 1.4% above its all-time low, 5.9% below its 90-day average, and it ticked up 1.4% this month.
